Retro video game collectors and fans of consoles from past to present are in for a treat next month as Nottingham plays host to one of the biggest retro gaming markets.
The Retro Games Fair is already hugely popular with thousands of gaming fans across Leeds and this is the first time an event of its type has been held in the East Midlands.
Traders and private collectors from around the country will be descending on the Britannia Hotel in the heart of the city on Saturday, October 5 and bringing with them a huge range of old school videogame paraphernalia dating back to some of the earliest days of gaming.
Nintendo, Sega, Atari, Commodore, Sinclair, Amstrad, Sony, Microsoft, SNK…
Whether it’s consoles, computers, artwork, imports, accessories, toys, plushies, or thousands of retro games, the Retro Games Fair Nottingham is the perfect event for anyone interested in playing or collecting videogames.
Sponsored by award-winning independent publisher Bitmap Books, the Retro Games Fair Nottingham will include a dedicated gaming area where attendees can play a wide range of classic games and challenges hosted by ItsMuchMore
Registered charity Get-Well Gamers (https://getwellgamers.org.uk/) will also be in attendance fundraising through gaming challenges and taking donations of games and consoles for hospitals, hospices, and anywhere else in the United Kingdom children and young people can benefit through entertainment.
Entry to the Retro Games Fair Nottingham is just £2 for adults, 50p for under 16’s and free for children under 6. What’s more, every attendee will receive a free souvenir programme.
