Kasabian have announced details of their only UK headline show for 2020 – and it’s in their hometown of Leicester.
The indie sensations will play a huge show in the city’s Victoria Park on Saturday, June 20.
It’ll see them return to the same venue six years on from their headline set at the same venue.
Guitarist Sergio Pizzorno, said: “We’re absolutely buzzing to be able to put on Solstice II in our home town of Leicester.
“Anyone who came last time would know how special it was and to get the opportunity to do it again is beyond a dream.”
It marks their first outdoor show since headlining Isle of Wight Festival and their first UK date since playing a sold-out night at the Brixton Academy in 2018.
They’ve previously headlined the likes of Glastonbury, V Festival and Reading and Leeds, achieved five number one albums and briefly played at Victoria Park following Leicester’s Premiership title win.
The band will be joined by support acts Sam Fender, Easy Life and Inhaler for the 2020 show.
